FORTES VILAÇA NA BARRA FUNDA

A Galeria inaugurou em 29/03 novo espaço expositivo de 1500m2 , o Galpão Fortes Vilaça, com a mostra God is Design, do curador Neville Wakefied do MOMA, que traz Nuno Ramos e Abel Abdessemed entre outros 11 artistas. O Galpão aberto no bairro da Barra Funda promete para 2008 expos de José Damasceno e Adriana Varejão, além de manter parte do acervo da galeria estocado e aberto a visitação mediante agendamento. FORTES VILAÇA AT BARRA FUNDA

The Gallery has open in 29/03 a 1500m2 new expo venue, the Galpão Fortes Vilaça, now showing God is Design, cureated by Neville Wakefied from MOMA, with Nuno Ramos and Abel Abdessemed among other 11 artists. The Galpão at Barra Funda area will show in 2008 José Damasceno e Adriana Varejão where part of the gallerys collection is stocked and open to visitors upon booking. (FSP e OESP 29/03)

ZOOLÓGICO DE SP AOS 50

Inaugurado em 1958 com 482 animais, o Zoológico de São Paulo faz 50 anos com 3228 exemplares de 367 espécies e uma nova missão: reproduzir animais em cativeiro para repovoar areas em que eles estiverem ameaçados de extinção. O projeto terá sua sede em fazenda em Araçoiaba, a 100 km da capital. (OESP 18/03)

CULTURA BOOKSHOP

O artista Eduardo Srur instalou a obra Pets, 20 infláveis gigantes de garrafas pet, nas margens no Rio Tiete entre as pontes do Limão e da Casa Verde, parte da exposição Quase Liquido em cartaz no Instituto Cultural Itau, que inclui visitas de grupos agendados ao local da instalação. TIETE

IFIGENIA

O Viaduto Santa Ifigênia de 1913, com 225 metros de estrutura de ferro, um dos marcos urbanos do centro histórico de São Paulo, vai ganhar este ano iluminação com LEDs orçada em R$400 mil e será o primeiro de uma serie de monumentos da cidade a ganhar este tipo de recurso de luz. (FSP 15/03)

IFIGENIA

The 225m iron structure of Santa Ifigenia Viaduct (1913), one of SP historic center land marks, will get this year a lighting project done with LEDs, which wil cost R$400 thousand and be one of a series of city monuments to receive this sort of lighting sistem. (FSP 15/03)
